Indeed, good spot. The guys are having fun in the Bukk mountain, north-east Hungary. And they crushed my friends shitty Trabant. :)

Nice! This Lada has been modified: it has more negative camber on the front wheels and a limited slip differential (or a welded diff.), suspention is harder too. The rollcage also helps to stiffen up the carbody which makes the car easier to drift.

amen to that. i also collect my experience in lada. but its niva. but no mater, as have you say, when you learn how to drive a lada, you can drive anything =)

The original fiat (lada is a licence of that) was made on the late 60's. There was no car with OHC engines that time. Try to compare lada with cars made then.Did you live in eastern europe? If not, you just can't imagine how hard it was to buy a lada, you had to wait for it 4-5 years. It was impossible to import a "western" car. As you born - as i think - in freedom, you can't imagine that.

It's pretty sure you don't understand it. There was nothing better at the moment.I had one, tuned it and ate 2-3 litre cars as a piece of cake. It was 10 years ago. I had several car since then, civics, fords, brand-new accord, miata, but i still like to remember the lada. If you can drive a lada properly, you can drive anything. |
