No, never floor it in a situation like that. That's how you bust u-joints and tear the hell out of your transfer case. H'es running 33x12.5 tires on what looks to be about a 5 inch lift. His differentials were locked, and tires aired down. There's not much left he could've done for more traction, besides having narrower tires. He drove it quite well, IMO.

Air those tires down to 12 psi and that would have made it easier
