I'm thinking of getting one of these, but can the patches be saved to the keyboard? I mean, can I use the keyboard without my PC?

Hi Sr. I am willing to buy a midi keyboard. Which is in your opinion the most versatile? i am using cubase4 and i want plenty of producing possibilities. Also i wolud like you to suggest me the best vst, plug ins, stand alone aplicattions (paino, bass, drums etc..) compatibles either with cubase and the keboard you are going to suggest me!thank a lot... your reviews are extremely helpull.

out of the box the transport buttons dont work in garageband, a quick download of some free software fixed it though. i love mine i got it new at Daddys junky music for $180, it may be a more regional store though.

This controller is pretty solid. I use it to dj with Serato. I got mine for about $200, but I think it retails for $250. The trigger finger retails around $150, but you can get it on amazon for less.I plan on picking up a trigger for those extra drum pads.
