wow her vibrato has made me completely rethink my own, thankyou Goija! its amazing such a sound can come from such little movement of the fingers, although she has surpirsingly fast vibrato for a violist (suspect of being trained by a violinist, ahah!)

Such a fine violist. Technique - great, tone quality - beautiful. Resonance in the chambers in which she recorded these Youtubes do disservice to her performance, though. Nevertheless, a great violist. Thank you very much, Olga, for these uploads.

agreed! I love starting this movement in 4th position! Why play on the A string if you don't have to? Save it for later.

surprised at the first position in the opening bars, would have expected more sophistication. I think she could make more of the little hairpin cresc. and dim. in the semiquaver runs up and down. Nice tone, though.

do you study with Ralph Fielding or Donald McInnes?

even though the viola and piano are supposed to work together here, the viola really gets lost :( The piano's just too loud. In the second movement this is even more so.What i do hear though is amazing! Great intonation and tone! Plus i don't know what that guy is talking about. you're gorgeous!Keep up the good playing! Also, question, is it just me or does no one play the fourth movement of this piece? it's also very beautiful and I can't find it anywhere :(
