Well the game IS still in progress so they're probably going to change that chopper thing and have more specific orders then most RTS's. Keep hoping!!!

You can pick your army so Russia isn't the evil country. Whichever country's you didn't pick are the evil ones.

I think that for non-obj. movement and formation changes, you'll need to use the controller. As for the gunships, I think they just expect you to fall back.
