Classic PSone game with mecha design by Kawamori Shoji. Whilst this isn't a particularly difficult stage it does afford an opportunity to use the Viper Boost on a fleet of spaceships. It's worth noting here that the Viper Boost weapon is very similar indeed to the V-Max system in Layzner.

No problem at all. I loved Omega Boost. Recently I decided to try Zone of the Enders (playing it now) because I saw it had similarities. Glad I could be of help!

:D thank you SO much, i've been looking for this game for about 4 years now, and it's finally over

Mhmm, the game you are thinking of is "Zone of the Enders" for PS2. ^_^ Excellent game, and yes, very similar to Omega Boost. Maybe Kojima got inspiration from it? Hmm...

most under-rated psx game. well this and rival schools.

by twist and twirl around, i mean the camera didn't change like here. here, you can move up down left right and diagonal, and in the other game you can kind of do a roll type thing but the camera never changed positions.

i remember a game that was EXTREMELY similar to this, does anyone know what it's called? it had robots like this and this perspective, but i remember being able to twist and twirl around. there was also an enemy that i remember in particular, it looked like a feminine robot, red and white, with extremely thin arms, looked similar to deoxys speed version from pokemon. the background was all white, looked like mechanical stuff. or maybe it IS this game? any help?

No offense to some gundam fans, but Omega boost is soo much better than the gundam games we have today! *in my Opinion*

I won't lie to you; I have this game and love i to death! This is one game that is slept on indeed! Polyphonic should take initiative in bringing this franchise back. If they can take time every year to bring back Grand Turismo, they should bring back Omega Boost on ps3! Great music, great graphics, even for it's time of being a PSone game! Thing is, even now, I can still beat this game in 30mins or less! They need to make it longer! Thanks graciously for the awesome Video!! Peace!
