i would completely agree with you on this one. I would much rather use the cash to buy a Kyma system, this is just useless. its just nice to look at. Personally, stick to a pro control. They are fast and not going anywhere. When will they learn its no longer about control. its about real time DSP like kyma... 1 bit refresh rate. Thats just yummy.

completely unessesary.good surface controller and Good amount spent on DSP chip and a nice interface shoulg get you on the way, this is just some trippy eye toy for daw's. i cant believ is as expensive as an Acces s Virus TI

its pretty, but honestly whats the point? I would much rather spend money on something practical like solid state logic Duende or something. But ya, its fuckin cool lookin and all that.
