It's actually considered by many among the greatest experimental/short films of all time, because it was so groundbreaking (it showed taboo homoerotic and religious imagery and is one of the first postmodern films). It also influenced Martin Scorsese and David Lynch.

I thought it was great.I also do NOT consider it gay.The worship of masculinity and beauty is not GAY just because the filmmaker is gay.That's like calling ELLE magazine "lesbian".It would appear THE LOST BOYS owes a little to this somewhat "vampiric-looking" filmThe biker's were straight (or bi) and simply wanted to be worshipped.That would make this a somewhat exhibitionistic film.They are now "immortal" and this film should be acknowledged for being WAY ahead of it's time!

Wow. What an amazing film. Nice to see it here. Great post, but I wish the audio and video quailty was better. Oh well. Still it's a 5/5.
