The Battery on this bike takes 6 hours to charge.So an overnight charge plugged into the mains and you're away, with a decent range due to regenerative braking. Apply the brakes and the electric motor works as a dynamo, recharging the Battery so some energy can be reclaimed that normal brakes otherwise convert to dust and heat.

im all for new technology, if fact i worship gadgets and inervations in technology, however what i dont get is why does every NEW and GREEN concept have to make the user look like a complete douche bag, every concept or prodoction energy efficient car looks like a huge blob, bulkey and well lame, maybe if they start producing energy efficent prototypes that look half decent investers will be more willing to give there money to produce them. (the Aston Martin Green mobile) 'asif' .. well why not

The difference is that an electric motor consumes power. And for that power to be produced at this momment oil is used, not just but also. And the magnetic one doesnt make noise. doesnt consum power doesnt make any polution :P
