i know :) they are the only cars we make here from toyota

Not all Toyota cars in the Middle East are coming from Australia... As far as I know, Camry & Aurion are the only cars that are imported from Australia... Avalon is imported from U.S. because Toyota Australia doesn't manufacture the Avalon...

Toyota Australia exports its vehicles to the Middle East so our crap is your crap too :)

Oh my god!! I didn't think this car was THAT fast..! Lovely car anyway

Let's face it, the Aurion is an awesome piece of kit. Of course it was always going to get bagged for been a FWD car but only by the GM lovers! The performance of the Aurion is far far better than my old 2004 Sportivo and after driving a Aurion Presara, I would so love to test the TRD Aurion! I Reckon that would rock!

0-100km/h in around 6.3 secs... not bad at all
aussieeagle2512 (July 16, 2008 at 9:00 am)
Wonder how this car would be with a twin-clutch DSG-like gearbox where the shifts are seamlessly instant

Though I am not lucky enough to be able to afford one (in other words cant afford a car really at all at the moment) it looks like a great all-round car and certainly formidable competition for its main competitors here in Australia the Ford Falcon and Holden Commodore. Those cars both have their good points but the Aurion seems much more sensible and you dont really sacrifice much of what makes the other cars great. |
