And by the way; Tom Hanks gotta be the best actor I know of. I love movies like "Saving Private Ryan" and "Forest Gump". Excellent acting!

I agree. I remember watching that scene in the theaters, and moving around in my seat while looking at the rest of the audience to see if they were feeling the same thing. I wanted to go crazy, or just scream, or just reach into the screen and save everything from going wrong.

When Del was executed, and that bastard Percy "forgot" to wet his sponge, I was about to start crying. I was swearing a lot though, because I was pissed at that s.o.b Percy. This movie really made my feelings messed up:P

I remember watching this with my bestfriend. And we both ended up crying so much at the end and throughout the whole movie. This is definately my favorite movie of all times.

I have this movie myself, and I'm not ashamed to admit that certain parts do make me cry too. How could anyone not cry like a baby, especially with John Coffey in the scene? A great performance by all the actors. This is a film worth watching again and again and again. |
