Thank you for posting this. My best friend in the 70's turned me on to this singer and I scoured the record shops in Little Tokyo in LA to find it. I paid $27.99 for his imported Japanese album in 1976 (new American lp's were just $3.99 back then) LOL!

今の歌い方も好きですが、当時の伸びやかでクリアーな高音もまた魅力的ですね。彼の実力ならクラシック界でも日本を代表するテノール歌手になっていたと思います。この曲で当時、東京国際音楽祭で金賞を取ったのを覚えています。

wonderful song and his voice is really emotional.(but personally, I prefer Kiyoharu's version of this song ^^)

What a great song by one of japan best singers ever..I still remember when I saw him live at Hakodate many years ago it was a wonderful life time experience. Thanks for posting this classic song. |
