The scanner is from Lectric Enterpises and cost $300. You must think it's one of those $60JC Whitney POS and it's not.It has since been upgraded to to Lectric's LED scanner with sound and remote.....cost $550.

I think u should buy a nicer scanner like mine.... mine cost me $350 not like the one u have which cost $60.... just a sugestion.

I think in one way it fits since its a continuation and its a newer model 3000, it would only be natural to "upgrade" the looks with the rest of the car.BUT then again there will only be one KITT ;)
