Ooooooooooh, okay. My strokes were WAY too long. I'd shave from the top of the cheek all the way to the jaw line. THAT'S what I was doing wrong.Also, I have kind of a prominent, almost Jay Leno-esque chin. I think I'll be shaving in, like, centimeter strokes there. I once had to do five passes in different directions to get all the stubble handled.

i've been ripped off by 3+ blade disposable razors for the last 6 years of my life. I want so badly for the fuckers that make them to go out of business. Now that i've discovered safety razors i'm going to take it upon myself to spread the word as much as i possibly can so these fucking sales gimmicks will cease to exist

IMO I think I liked the original better because I found it helpful to watch how you shaved the neck, chin, and under the nose. I watched that video about 5x before my first shave and I didn't feel like I was about to carve my face up like a turkey.
