I can see how this music can be dull to some people who are used to bands who have either 2:00 min. or less songs or every song is upbeat....but not to me :).I can listen or jam to thiseveryday...

Best way bro' is to get a good equalizer and isolate the piano or bass track the best you can, and learn it by ear. I know there is a Mahavishnu songbook out there, but I'm sure it's out of print. I suggest GOOGLE it !!!!lol
