Anime means 'animation' in Japanese, not Japanese Cartoon.

Just like many other things, you have to learn how to draw. Anyone can draw anime if they practice. Sometimes people pick it up faster than others, thats all.

isn't anime the ANIMATED version of manga style characters???? Well its a Japanese drawing/cartooning style where there characters have very large glassy eyes, spiky/pointed hair, sharp features and less attention on the mouth and nose.... just look at the vid you'll see

Thanks a lot for posting! I used to draw things realistically, like still life, but i don't see much excitement in drawing what is actually there. Anime is much more imaginative.
