There you go, you dont have to be Yngwie Malmsteen and play guitar at a 1000mph to sound awsome.

Wasn't Ian Astbury doing lead singer with the remaining members of The Doors when they got together a few years ago.

what about bands that released in the 80s?

i am crazy about 80-ies rock, but i cant say it is better tehen 60-s or 70-s, i listen to them all, and dont forget that it all begun in 60-s, and music form 60-s and 70-s i think is more honest than 80-s music, but 80-s had their strong points, so i am not tryng to defyne which decade was better.

I'd have to disagree, there was an awful lot of rubbish music in the 80's and i think more so than any other decades, every good artist from the 60's and 70's released their worst stuff during the 80's The Stones (bar Tattoo you), Neil Young, Clapton, Scorpions and it was also the era of new romantics and poodle hair rockers, you had to look hard for decent bands if you didn't like the latter. Thank god for Dj's such as John Peel and dave Fanning (in ireland)

I never knew this video existed and I was really into the cult. They weren't very MTV friendly back then.I saw their 1984 tour. Great stuff. |
