Agreed, one could easily imagine Prince doing a similar version of this song (w/ drum machine for his signature purple rock), but he also took equal size bites o' so many other pop-funk bands (i.e. The OHIO Players).

I know this album is prince's record collection. His first 3 albums bit quite hard on foxy's sound.
