Yeah, I have acompletely stock '05 Duramax and il'll blow its share of black smoke so, you don't know what you're talkin about.

yeah too bad that chevy is chipped w/ exhaust. stock emissisions dont blow coal son. looked like a mbrp exhaust on it too. if that 6 liter had a dp tuner it would be like saturn 5 just gone

while some powerstrokes are like that, some drive 200,000 miles without so much as a burp from the engine. depends on how its driven and how well taken care of it was, obviously... -I work for ford ( but would always prefer chevy) and know what the engines can take.

duramax's come with way more power stock than the powerstroke, and you're right- the ford is slightly heavier. but with all that performance in the powerstroke, I'm surprised it didn't win. aerodynamics have nothing to do with this race. even if it did, both are nearly equally aerodynamic. and the powerstroke had a terrible launch, he was braketorquing too much and sat at the start and spun them! go chevy =]

No son, Ford F-series trucks have the most solid hardware in the business. D-max is a solid (import)engine, but the rest of the truck is garbage. Run any tires bigger than 33" and it's new ball joints every 2 years. Interiors are pasticy and flimsy. Dodges are even worse. Motor will last, truck wont. Sorry, truth hurts.

idk honestly i cannot stand fords, my father has a duramax c4500 which i like alot; but this is kinda unfair the ford is like 2x the size of the chevy and it sits so high aerodynamics are completely tossed- not too fair of a race IMO

thats not true. i dont call a stuck VGT, leaking seals, or failing injectors, or blown head gaskets computer problems.
