Oh, yes, in the book it is so surprising how Dr. Lecter treats Agent Starling. He treats her like she's a princess, and it's the sweetest thing in the world. =]Yet a bit disturbing, lol. But still amazing.

I just read the book and now I REALLY would love to watch the movie, but I'm having my doubts because of the differences.I don't want to be disappointed like the Harry Potter movies. =/

The movie is not so good , you gotta read the book . In the book he's carrying her for days , he's spoiling her with the best odors and with many other beautiful things . In the book it is a scene described somethin' like this : "He holds her leg kindly like a little creature in his hands." there are a lot of this kind of scenes ^-^

Er...I guess that's not a tear but just water dripping from the knife he holds in his right hand...In 1:40-1:41 you can see the wet knife...And I think that he wouldn't shed one tear for anybody...not even for Clarice...

right before he says " this is really going to hurt" @ 1:56 a tear comes out of his left eye. He loves her!
