This is *not* the real Kathleen. She is a fantastic, charasmatic person and politician. very "real." I only wish she would open up instead of this such scripted speech. That AND she knows my name! I hope you get a good seat in the cabinet Kathleen!

I'm sorry, but I feel like she took 3 Xanax before making this speech. I'm sure she's got a great heart and is quite intelligent, but unfortunately, people will switch the channel on her in a second. :-/

Another canned pre-planned heartless speech. Can't anyone speak from the heart anymore?

Vapid. Where's the beef?

John McCain realizes he can not win so he has started a serious effort to discredit Obama and weaken his Presidency early on. It's the kitchen sink strategy that Hillary tried earlier this year. There is nothing hopeful about it and it says more about them than about us. We as Democrats must hold them accountable for THEIR war, THEIR economy, THEIR gas prices and THEIR lack of values! Only 24% of Americans think we are on the right track...that's the Republican record. Say it often!

thats what you have the secretary of war, defense secretary, secretary of the state, and all of the generals for dont fall for the same shenanigans oh they dont have foriegn policy experience, the bush team five had the greatest foriegn policy experience ever and oh wat a mess that turned out to be.

It's true that there are no rhetorical fireworks in this speech, but that's because Governor Sebelius is a bridge builder, a uniter. She is not a fan of slash and burn politics, something she has in common with ordinary people around the world. I think she's a remarkable woman, who deserves respect.Andy, UK

sometimes, members of the other party win govships in opposite party states. Just because Pataki was a GOPer did not mean Dole or Bush ever had a snowball's chance in hell of carrying the state. The same for Kansas. Obama will get cremated there. plus, this speech is HORRIBLE. Do you really want this dud campaigning?

If you only knew how extensive the vetting is on each vp prospect, and yet you summed up all that mattered in two sentences. Bravo.

Sebelius does not have any foreign policy experience and seems a little boring. For that I do not see her as a great choice for VP. |
