yeah but you don't run, you drop to down and make yourself lower than everything around you.

no but it sure makes sense though

Yeah but the one thing they never seem to test is when its wet. Water conducts electricy very well, and usually where's there's lightning, there's usually rain too. So whats to say that won't change the effect?

'so were u killed 2 death then?'lol

I know what you mean, omg, but 1 million volts at 2 Amps would blow you to kingdom come. A van-der-graaf generator produces 50Kv but the push is micro-amps. That stings a bit, especially if you try to lick it!

I heard that when there is a storm going on, and you fell that your hair get static and up in the air, you better run as hell because this happens before the lightening will strike. Has anybody heard about this theory?

sounds like you know your stuff then =P if you have a larger current, does that determine the thickness of the arc?

Yeah but how many Amperes was it travelling at, even 1 million volts travelling at like 2 Amps wouldn't kill youBut 240 Volts @ 40 Amps can put you into a comaIt all depends on the speed of the current...Lighting no doubt would travelling at insanely fast speeds, so I'm not sure you'd be entirely safe even if your car chassis is a Faraday cage |
