First of all... every spanish basketball player explained that the making of "slanty-eyes" didn't mean to be racist... About soccer, the worst for acting racist are germans. I still remember the last eurocup match (Spain vs Germany) when one of the german players was hitting a black spanish player all the time.

mahaliqbal,because you live in the US I understand that you people are kind of sensitve and see racism everywhere.Let me explain it to you.The guy who ask the Spanish team to do slanty-eyes were a CHINESE promotor.The guys didn't do it in a racist way at all.

Spanish fury: some things about Spain are good, but there seems to be a lot of racism there.The Spanish basketball team was making "slanty-eyes" in a foto before coming to the Beijing Olympics. Also, Spanish soccer fans are some of the worst for acting rude and racist towards players who are black, Arabic, etc.I think maybe Japanese people are often better-organized are more logical than Koreans, but Koreans are generally friendlier and easier to know on a personal basis.
