the custom has a bolt on neck and the elite has a one piece....

There is another difference. The elite has a split bridge. It isnt really a major plus. Id have the custom, in fact, ill buy one soon. Still.. Both are great

the custom is the same model as the elite the only difference is the color and the tuners are made of gold but in termns of wood , eq are the same thing
