He has quite a nice richness to his voice, he obviously suffers with his nerves but the last 12 months should have ironed some of that out. Should he have won on his vocal? That's for personal taste but what I will say is I like to see someone who has the balls to drag himself out of a poor situation and catapult himself into his dreams. Before you start criticising him you might want to take a look at yourself first and ask if 1) you could do better and 2) have you got the balls to try.
