She is doing progressive pop. If you hear something strange in her songs it is a stylistic device. This woman definitely knows how to create great music (practicing piano since she's three and was kicked from a music orientated school because she filled songs by Bach and Mozart with her own emotions so that a completely new version was created (she was still a child back then). So everyone who doesn't understand her: Grab your fucking chart compilation and leave Tori Amos alone.

i don t think i m bein naive i am just sayin that the nirvana version was far better and because she was a friend of Kurt doesn t mean that i should like the way she sang!!!i think kurt's was better and i will definatelly say it and support my opinion nd i don t think that makes me ignorant

Tori Amos never once tried to be Curt Cobain, they were friends in real life, I'll respect that, and you should respect someone for signing one of their closes friends' song after their death. Stop being so naive and ignorant.
