Ran the giantess is the sister and wife of Aegir, the giant lord of the sea. Together, they have nine daughters, also called The Waves, and grandmother of the Aesir god Heimdall. She may very well be Asynia.Ran has a magical net which she uses to catch drowning sailors and brings them down to her hall to live with her. Sailors always kept a gold coin or trinket to give to her, for she loves gold and gold is what lit up the inside of her underwater hall.Prose EddaSkáldskaparmálSection XXXIIIRan is the name of Ægir's wife, and their daughters are nine, even as we have written before. At this feast all things were self-served, both food and ale, and all implements needful to the feast. Then the Æsir became aware that Rán had that net wherein she was wont to catch all men who go upon the sea. Now this tale is to show whence it comes that gold is called Fire or Light or Brightness of Ægir, of Rán, or of Ægir's daughters; and now such use is made of these metaphors that gold is called Fire of the Sea, and of all names of the sea, even as Ægir on Rán had names associated with the sea. Therefore gold is now called Fire of Waters or of Rivers, and of all river-names.Ran - ("The Ravager") Vana-Goddess; She is the Sea Goddess and Goddess of death for those who perish at sea. She collects drowned people in her net. She is unpredictable and malicious.Ægir's wife, Ran, endeavored by all possible means to bring mischance upon mankind; she had in her possession a net, with which she made it her constant pursuit to draw seafaring men down to herself in the deeps of the ocean.Blessed Be

Yes Njord was originally of the Vanir but came to live with the Aesir after the war between the Norse Gods.

Njord is the Norse God of Fire, Wind and Sea, who was first married to Skadi , Goddess of Skiing and Winter. But when they were not compatible he hooked up with Hertha(aka Nerthus) Earthy Goddess of sacred cows and plows. He is also father to Freya and Freyr by his sister (Nerthus). But no he was not married to Ran. I am working on a video on Njord. I hope this helps.Blessed Be
