Ok, well I'll agree with you to a degree on linux. I think Linux (I used ubuntu), is a great OS, but has some slight bugs, I think it's better than Windows but not as good as OSX. If you can afford OSX it is definitely worth getting.I never said hardware did have anything to do with viruses. Though I admit that how I structured my sentence may have led to that conclusion.

Im not saying i won't get a virus. the FACT is i havent yet.Building PCs has absolutly nothing to do with software, aka viruses... not saying you dont know what youre talking about, just to clarify for you.there are many many many flavors of linux. bound to be issues. but for the majority of them to be open-source, that alone makes them better than osx.

Yes but Linux isn't as good as OSX, I have had stability issues with Linux in the past.

Sometimes you can't though. Even the best of ICT guys will get viruses from time to time and to say you don't is just proof that you don't know what you're on about. I used to build and repair PCs with my mate Liam, and we both got viruses despite our knowledge of PCs.

your theory is odd, especially being in the minority. it is also irrelevant to anything at all.i wouldnt brag about free software when Linux exists.my job involves pc's and the educating of children. so no, games arent everything. we acomplish a lot with pc's.the 10 mac's that we have for video editing arent allowed on the network, cuz we wont support that crap.

i did not say you only get viruses from porn. try not to misquote. i said that the only incident i personally saw was related to porn.here's a tip usefull in the past: block the drive-by installs.

one word, 'crossover'. You can play any PC game you like, on your mac, and the software is free. Despite this, I rarely use it, you see I have a theory on what seperates mac users from PC users. You need PC games for fun and whacking off, where as mac users have a life once we turn of our computers. I might go to the gym with my mates, or play football (real football, not the American rip-off-of-Rugby football). See what I mean? Games are not everything.
