Lords: You've got to be kidding me right? The whole music industry today is nothing more than a monopolized conglomerate; much more so than ever before. I do agree with you; I do still find some decent music from newer acts, but in much less abundance than what existed in the 80's or early 90's. Aside from bands like Radiohead (Which began in the early 90's) and a few of Coldplay's songs, I just don't come across hardly any new mod. rock music with any redeeming qualities; esp. not on the radio.

brilliant song - just back from T in the Park 2008 and saw them last night in the King Tuts Wah Wah Tent - favourite set of the weekend - brilliant to hear their old songs again and forgot how good they are

I like a great deal of music from the 70's,80's and some 90's.However, i still find some newer music I like. I don't think it went down hill,as much as people's taste changed.New generations new music,its the way of the world.I'm sure people who grew up with music of the 60's hated the 70's or 80's...I know my Grandmother sure did.
