Since this incarnation of the JL doesn't have Batman and Wonder Woman, I can see Smallville basing their version of the Justice League on this.

Well, the JLA predated Superfriends in cartoons, and in the comics... but the original DC superteam was the Justice Society during WW2.

I never heard of this? I thought the SUPERFRIENDS (73) was the first to pair our DC heroes together. But where oh where is BATMAN?
