I don't suppose you have noticed but nearly everyone else stuffs there engine bays with big engines compared to bmw! i.e m3 compared to the isf. virtually same power output but the bmw is 1L smaller in size! No one can compete against bmw on the engine front!

The Rx was the first. The bratwurst boys in germany has to stop selling their cars on the bases of over stuffing their engine bay with over sized engines. Take a page from Porsche and adapt Lexus's hybrid system. Not the best solution but it's a beginning.
