how can you say that america has none of it's own culture, what about the hippie? Thay were real modernist,and today there wouldn't be big corperations or buisneses unless the hippies were there, so you can't say we don't have culture. so if i want to be mod i can, if i want to be a hippie i can, there shoudn't be mean people like you telling me what i can and can't do

look at a lot of young british youth today, listening to rap,r&b,dressing in hoodies,speaking a weird american ,carribean,ghetto,slang accent,innit,carbon copying american gangsta cult, and you accuse some americans who like the british mod scene, good luck to them i say

nothing wrong with americans being mods ,or scooterists, steal music, come on , just about every form of modern popular music originated in america,without black music ,blues soul etc there would be no elvis or buddy holly,there be no beatles,the who ,the stones,,the jam, small faces etc,most mods or scooterists listen to soul,northen soul,motown etc,we had our own british bands of course,if the yanks like our bands great and our styles great,better than listening to rap crap

You should be grateful anyone gives a damn about your youth movement. For most kids then as now I would guess it's an appreciation of music and style, not nationalistic pride. Ask Pete Townshend or Paul Weller and I'm sure they'll tell you.

bonzo, america to put it bluntly has NONE of its own culture, it has chavs, big whoop. tbh mate, my dad, and grandad were mods, and tbh. i think there awesome, and i am one. im more of one that you will ever be, English moods own, american mods tbh are rubbish. go eat a burgerking, and leave the mods in britain. WHERE THEY BELONG!! England Started It, England will keep it, we dont want yanks envolved, if you cant find your own culture, i feel terribily sorry for you. ruddy yank, ENGLAND OWNZ!
