I am going to try some other competing products very soon and I might make a video response with my other YouTube account. But testing various shaving creams will take some time so I can properly have a base of measurement.

I'm not impressed with the products The Art of Shaving offers -- they are expensive and I'm not a fan of the quality.

Between this video and the guys at Badger& Blade, I think I'm on the right track to having a good experience with wet shaving. I ordered all my gear and look forward to butchering my face. Just kidding but I'm sure my first time will be a bit intense.

I find "The Art of Shaving" products readily available.

SLR722BRABUS- Personally I think yes, a pre-shave wash and a pre-shave oil would be overkill. Skip the pre-shave oil to see if there's a difference without it (keep using the wash though). But if you're getting a great shave, you might not want to "mess with success!"

I don't think Prattyiiv is talking about "mantic"!!Maybe foxy's comment??!!!

Excellent vid! These have totally changed my shaving experience. Thanks! Just wondering...I use a pre-shave wash AND almond pre-shave oil, is that overkill?? I.e. will using too many products on my face eventually become detrimental...?Also what would recommend regarding post-shave balms - I use nivea extra soothing balm, would you recommend anything better?
