Andy Tielman (in white) is the singer. By the time they recorded this song there were only 3 Tielman Brothers left. Bass player Phonton left the band in 1964 to form his own group (The Royal Tielman) and was replaced by Robby Latuperisa from the Javalins. Hans Bax (also from the Javalins) was added as an extra guitarist.

Don't forget that Indo's were all soldiers in the KNIL ARMY (Royal Dutch Indo Army) and fought side by side with the Dutch and Americans against the Japanese during the second world war. Soekarno worked together with the Japanese for a independent Indonesia. |
