well just to put it out there...this was a job very well done! i'm a clarinet player myself and i've been playing since 4th grade. i have played this piece at interlochen for a student recital this past year, but i played it on a Bb clarinet NOT a basset, and i had it transposed to Bb. but i wish that i could have played it on a basset. it sounds soo much better!

I played like that when I was young. Do'nt think I looked that pretty while I did it. Hard instument to play and look graceful. Bravo!

You should see USC's orchestra. I dunno which Mozart piece they did, but every single one of them borrowed a basset clarinet for that piece.And yes, most professional clarinetists do play this on the basset clarinet nowadays. Martin Frost has an amazing tone for this concerto. Check it out on youtube.
