just for the record: this isnt't "Iggy & the Stooges" cause there are no Stooges. Iggy & The Stooges were history by then. Its only Iggy

it's so cool, at first u think "oh god, he's going to screw it up", and then he starts singing and everythings just fine... :=)according to a book (Torn apart) Iggy played Manchester Apollo twice in 1977, first time with Bowie (the concert was attended by Ian Curtis of Joy Division), the second one without Bowie. I think this is probably the second, because Bowie would be in the camera if hed been there

1. Sid may be a part of music history, but a very sad part. (precisely one maybe should say he was part of punk fashion history but hardly contributed to any musical acclaim for the Pistols.. on the contrary the only direction for them was downhill after he joined). as person he managed to fuck himself up on smack within a pair of years, which makes him a loser in my eyes. someone here compared Sid to Iggy, and to my judgement i can only say they were not on one level, never

sid vicious was a boy when maclearen got hold of him.glitterbest, the company who managed the pistols, ripped poor old sid off,but they had to hand over 2 million dollars back to the group about 10 yeara ago.he was a patr of musical history where i come from.show some respect, its no competition.but my way by sid is pretty rip-roaringly excellent.R.I.P Sid.
