I've seen them. How many turbos does the Veyron have? And how many radiators? Go count them, IF YOU CAN. An engineering nightmare at best. Here in America, all it takes is one supercharger with one V8 to put shame to your Euro fantasy cars. And a fraction of the price, too.

Im pretty sure the ferrari they test cost about the same as the viper. A new ferrari cost about 1/4 million. Also the reason for this is not because it has a lot more power, or is a lot faster. Its because its MUCH nicer than a viper.

Ok, here is why american cars cannot turn as well as European cars, the U.S. has a lot of highways, so most of the time you aren't even going through twisty mountain roads so American cars are faster on the straight a way. European cars corner well because there are more moutain roads in Europe. Think of it like an adaptation.
