Exactly.Which news channel out there besides Aljazeera ever reports on Mongolia, or the Tuareg? Certainly not any filtered American channel I've ever seen.

Yeah man, CNN, MSNBC, and FOXNews are all over rated.I got my FTA Satellite Receiver about 8 month ago and since then I fell in love with the Al-Jazeera channel because they show what's going on around the world exactly and they won't sugarcoat anything by cutting violent scenes(dead people on the streets) out either. This is how news channels should be.

I've always been fascinated with the Tuareg and their culture. Aljazeera is the only news outlet that ever reports on them.

If you liked this video, perhaps you'll find the complementary article at Al Jazeera interesting:english.aljazeera. net/focus/unrestsahara/2008/07/2008710121834923863.htmlFrom the article sidebar:"The UN ranks Niger as the fourth poorest country in the world. Two thirds of its population live below the poverty line, according to the IMF.One in four children are said to die before their fifth birthday and adult literacy is under 29 per cent."

I support this rebel group they generally seem like the kind who just wants to give a group a chance instead of a rebel group who just wants to topple a government so they can gain power. |
