There is only ONE TRUE CHURCH and this is the orthodox Church. Everyone can examine it - which church keeps unchanged the Holy Tradition ? The orthodox. The Holy Scripture is a part of the Tradition - Tradition was first. So only the church has the key to the understanding of the Scripture. The proplem is that many people follow their own interpretation and are under spiritual delusion.

i'm a roman catholic and i have a deep respect for the orthodox. its sad the divisions umong usssss :( but God willing we'll be able 2 worship under da same roof with Mary and all teh Saints...

You are contradicting the Bible when you say "confess not your sins any man". Because James 5:16 strictly says "Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed." There is a difference between Mediator and Intercession. Jesus is our Mediator because it is ONLY through him that our sins are washed. Intercession is asking someone to pray for you, Intercessions of the saints is the same as me asking my mom to pray for me. Only difference is saints are with God

Traditon is not a problem for us christians to hear. He said it right if your founders errored and were wrong teachings;then why do you stay in the wrong teachings. Ex. Jesus said "call no man father on earth" 'confess not your sins any man" Jesus said I am the only mediator with the father then why pray to saints, why purgatory? --Jesus accomplished it ALL on the cross. WE christians love you catholics, but as the dark clothes you were just like mormans,quakers you all error. Come to truth

The Coptic church is and Orthodox Church. Coptic is the language of the ancient egyptians, therefore the Coptic Orthodox church basically means egyptian Orthodox Church.

Exactly my point. We must stay united as best we can as orthodox Christians in order to maintain the One catholic Church established our blessed Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the glorious ever-virgin Mary, Theotokos!

I was wondering, I know that the roman catholic church and the orthoox churchs in my opinion are great, since they both are and partake of symbolic rituals which glorify Jesus, but what about the coptic church? I am trying to learn more about it, to compare to the rcc and the orthodox church. Also this comment you made makes alot of sense, never thought of it that way, I would think that priest would have to spend as much time as a bishop though, but your right a bishop does have more thingstodo

Our priests are allowed to get Married as "nomust" quoted, there is nothing wrong with Marriage, it is infact one of the 7 Holy Sacraments. However, to become a Bishop which is higher than a priest you cannot be married because of the greater responsibilities a Bishop has and most of his time, sorry, all of his time is to spent on working for God and therefore if he were married he wouldnt be able to take care of his family. Plus as you said "It is symbolic of christ" |
